Position Profile
This is an exciting, newly created position, and presents an opportunity for an experienced Microsoft business solutions professional with Dynamics 365 expertise to help shape our future and the delivery of key business outcomes.
MyLeave is building its internal digital capability and is looking for a Business Solutions Engineer to join our IT team and take a leading hands-on role in designing, developing, integrating, maintaining and supporting our Microsoft business solutions environment and emerging technologies.
You will work across Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, .NET applications and other business systems, helping us build an integrated, sustainable and increasingly data-driven technology environment. You will also work directly with people across MyLeave to understand business problems, translate them into practical technology solutions and then help design, build, deploy and support those solutions.
Rather than joining a large development team where you own one small piece of the technology stack, you will be part of a small IT team with broad exposure across MyLeave’s technology environment and business operations. You will have the opportunity to shape how the capability operates across MyLeave’s Microsoft ecosystem and influence the introduction of emerging technologies.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys both designing and developing technology solutions and making them work in the real world.
About you
You will have experience in design, development, enhancement and support for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power Platform, Fabric and SharePoint. In addition, you will work with business areas to identify and implement process improvements. In addition to your technical skills, and experience working with teams on business solutions, we are looking for a candidate who:
- Remains calm under pressure.
- Can communicate confidently with stakeholders, challenging assumptions.
- Works collaboratively as part of an IT team, while also being comfortable working independently and with autonomy.
- Takes initiative in researching emerging technologies and identifies opportunities to apply them in a practical business context.
How to apply
Applicants are requested to submit a comprehensive resume, including two professional referees, and in no more than two pages a statement addressing the following essential selection criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and Microsoft SharePoint solutions
- Demonstrated experience in solving problems through creative and workable solutions and options using well developed analytical and problem-solving skills and modern technologies and methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to remain up to date with the Microsoft roadmap, including new product releases and updates, and learning new technologies and skills.
All applications must be submitted through the www.jobs.wa.gov.au portal – search Business Solutions Engineer at MyLeave.
Applications must be received by 4pm, Monday 9 November 2026. No late applications will be accepted.
