About the Role
ChemCentre is modernising its two Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to a common platform and modules. We are seeking to appoint highly skilled and self -motivated senior programmers to join a driven and passionate team of software developers.
The software development team delivers a pivotal function to ensure that ChemCentre maintains its critical support systems with functionality relevant to supporting and meeting its strategic objectives.
The senior programmers will work within the development team and undertake DevOps duties including planning, design, coding, building, testing, release, deployment, monitoring and operations support tasks. This role requires the programmers to be proficient with the Microsoft software development kit, including contemporary Microsoft cloud-based standards, techniques and services.
The positions are initially offered on a fixed term contract basis for up to 24 months dependent on skills, experience and funding. Options for further extensions or permanency may be considered, subject to funding and conditions. Suitable applicants may be considered for like positions within 6 months from the date of finalisation of the selection process.
You will require a National Police Clearance and Australian Citizenship or valid working visa.
