THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The Corruption and Crime Commission (the Commission) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to improve the integrity of and reduce the incidence of serious misconduct and corruption in the Western Australian Public Sector.
The Assessment and Strategy Development (ASD) Directorate is a multi-functional team working collaboratively across the Commission and the public sector through its assessment, oversight and strategic intelligence functions. ASD assesses and manages the receipt of serious misconduct allegations, conducts reviews of investigations conducted by public sector agencies and conducts research and analysis to inform Commission priorities and external reports.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This exciting and challenging position presents an opportunity for an experienced intelligence analyst to join the Commission's strategic intelligence team within ASD.
The team conducts research and analysis and provides a range of intelligence products for Commission decision-makers. The focus is upon broader public sector trends and issues and identifying serious misconduct and corruption risks.
The intelligence products inform Commission strategic planning and priority setting as well as public sector capacity building.
The role will suit someone who is able to:
- Use conceptual and problem solving skills and analytical techniques to deliver high-level intelligence analysis.
- Apply research methodologies and intelligence gathering practices and techniques.
- Produce high quality written intelligence products and deliver intelligence briefings.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment.
The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and appointment is conditional on satisfactory completion of a rigorous security clearance process.
