Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced and enthusiastic persons to the position of Clinical Nurse on Ward 9C in Service 1, to facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care. The successful applicants will provide clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence based nursing care is delivered to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team and will practice within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Ward 9C is an 18-24 bed in the Respiratory and Renal ward, it includes a four bedded Respiratory Failure Unit. The suitable applicants will need to possess the following skills, but not limited to; recent acute experience with Non Invasive Ventilation, chest drains and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD). PD includes both Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis and Automated Peritoneal Dialysis.
