We are establishing an appointment pool for vacancies that arise up to 31 August 2018. Appointments may be made on a full-time, part-time, permanent or fixed-term contract basis.
Suitable candidates will be placed in the appointment pool from which opportunities may be offered as vacancies arise. Candidates may also be considered for similar positions as they arise during the life of the pool. If the appointment pool is exhausted prior to the pool expiry date, we reserve the right to supplement the pool through further advertising.

About the role
Have you ever thought you would like to share your Auslan knowledge, skills and experience with others who want to work in this area? We are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Auslan to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students studying Auslan. Students may be enrolled in Certificate II through to a Diploma of Auslan.
North Metropolitan TAFE delivers:
- Certificate II in Auslan
- Certificate III in Auslan
- Certificate IV in Auslan
- Diploma of Auslan
- Course in Underpinning Skills for Industry Qualifications
- Diploma of Interpreting (Auslan)
As a Lecturer you will engage students in the learning process using varied delivery methods in a variety of learning environments. You will be valued for your industry/workplace relevance, which you will maintain through ongoing collaboration with industry and community networks and professional development. With your ability to be self-reflective, you will regularly analyse your own performance and seek feedback from others. North Metropolitan TAFE will provide ongoing support to build and enhance your teaching and learning capabilities.
