We are seeking to establish a pool of Teachers K-6 for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

The School

Wellard Primary School (PS) opened in 2018 and caters to students from Kindergarten to Year 6, located in the heart of the growing Wellard community. Today, our school supports a vibrant and diverse population of 942 students.

The Role

We are seeking passionate educators who are collaborative, flexible, and committed to working across year levels within a vibrant professional learning community. Applicants should exhibit strong community engagement, build positive relationships, and uphold high expectations for all students.

Suitable applicants will ideally be confident in evidence-based teaching practices, using student data to inform instruction and creating inclusive, engaging learning environments. Skills in digital technology integration, explicit instruction, and effective behaviour management are highly desirable.

Experience or knowledge in the following programs is desirable but not essential:
Talk for Writing, Prime Mathematics, Spelling Mastery, Heggerty, Cracking the Code, Sounds Write, Science of Reading, and Teach Well strategies.
