The Role
Hampton Park PS is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educational leader to join our team as Deputy Principal. This pivotal role involves shaping the learning culture of the school with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices, while actively promoting the school’s values, ethos, and strategic priorities.
The suitable applicants will ideally have extensive experience working with students from a variety of backgrounds, be proactive and visible within their schools and possess the innovation and capacity to provide instructional leadership across our K-6 school. We are seeking experienced leaders who are student and solutions focussed and who work effectively to develop the capabilities of all staff. You’ll be joining a school where staff are valued, opinions are actively sought, and all staff work effectively together for the betterment of all stakeholders. In addition, the Deputy Principal should lead student services and case management processes, ensuring coordinated and proactive support for students. This may include working collaboratively with staff and families, coaching colleagues, providing constructive feedback, and guiding the implementation of practices that support both academic achievement and social–emotional wellbeing.
