We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Education Support for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Pine View Primary School (PS) is in the growing suburb of Baldivis, surrounded by developing housing estates with many young families. The school opened its doors to students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in 2021 and, in 2022, opened an onsite Education Support Program that provides specialist education for students with disability. Pine View PS provides students with an inclusive education to ensure each child develops skills and knowledge to achieve their goals.
We have a commitment to developing and implementing whole school, evidence-based practice to effectively deliver high quality teaching and learning aligned to the Department of Education’s Quality Teaching Strategy. While we have a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, our students are engaged in all learning areas including Science, Technologies, Visual Art, HASS, Physical Education, Music and Auslan. We value and promote the development of the whole child, proactively supporting our students to develop their social, academic and physical capabilities.
Our school has a strong and continual focus on self-reflection to constantly improve teaching practice. As a Western Australian Positive Behaviour Strategies (WAPBS) school, Pine View PS actively promotes positive student behaviour, and has a whole school approach toward effective behaviour management. We have a highly supportive school community and value parents as partners, engaging them in their children’s learning.
