About the Role
Join our Finance Services Branch as a leader responsible for the seamless operation of our team. In this pivotal role, you will execute the Financial Services business plan, align with corporate goals and expectations, and implement policies in coordination with Treasury initiatives.
You will lead and inspire your team, placing a strong focus on employee management and performance enhancement. Your ability to cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance will be essential in developing talent and motivating team members to achieve their best. As the primary liaison with statutory government authorities, you will ensure effective communication and compliance.
Success in this position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and well-developed conceptual and analytical abilities, enabling you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will work closely with various stakeholders across Main Roads to identify gaps and implement improvements, leveraging your analytical skills to enhance business processes and systems.
Your expertise in managing resources, overseeing budgets, exercising sound judgement, and evaluating performance will be critical to our success. Strong decision-making, strategic vision, and exceptional leadership qualities will empower you to drive our Financial Services business objectives.
About You
We are seeking a self-motivated and results-oriented professional with a proven track record in employee and performance management. To excel in this position, you must possess:
A Tertiary qualification in accounting with CPA or equivalent membership is essential for this role.
