Staff members work in a collaborative team that includes teachers, speech pathologists, occupational therapist, school psychologist, education assistants and the administration staff. Dedicated staff at NEMLDC focus on developing strong oral language skills to support literacy. Professional learning in the priority language areas is provided for new staff through our induction program and there is ongoing professional learning for all staff.
NEMLDC has over 300 students enrolled across three campuses which are co-located with West Morley, Beechboro, and North Balga Primary Schools. Education Assistants may be placed at any campus and may change campus locations according to the needs of the school. Staff are student focused, with high expectations, and value building of strong working relationships with our community.
