This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time appointments with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Your skills are needed in this specialty. Local, National and International Nurses with relevant experience or senior nurses wanting to transition and upskill to paediatric care are invited to apply.

About the Department/Service /Directorate: Hospital in the Home (HitH) is an alternative to in-hospital stay where patients remain under the care of their hospital doctor and HitH nurses, allied health and additional home supports in their own home environment. Our nurses provide treatments such as intravenous antibiotics, dressings, clinical assessments, central venous access devices (CVAD) care and parental support.

For the Clinical Nurse position
- EC2: Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidence-based nursing care within the practice setting.
- EC3: Demonstrated well developed communication skills, including teaching, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- EC6: Demonstrated leadership skills.
For the Registered Nurse position
- EC2: Demonstrated relevant clinical skills and ability to provide competent nursing care.
- EC4: Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- EC5: Demonstrated ability to undertake patient/carer teaching.
A current resume which summarises your experience and contains phone and email contact details of two professional referees, with at least one being a recent supervisor/line manager.

This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:
- The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.
- Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
- Appointments may be made from this pool until 30 June 2025.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
