ICT Risk and Resource Planning is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Coordinator - ICT Business Operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the budgetary cycle and reporting on the Division’s financial budget systems and processes. This includes forecasting, cash flow projections, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and accounting standards. You will collect, analyse, and interpret data and other contextual information for various ICT business units to aid in the development and management of their budgets.
The Coordinator will ensure compliance with government policies, guidelines, and legislation in contract administration and procurement activities. You will also coordinate the delivery of quality human resources services and support to staff, ensuring that human resource activities adhere to Public Sector Standards in Human Resource Management, Commissioner’s Instructions, legislation, and Departmental policies and procedures. This includes providing confidential information and strategic advice to the ICT Division.
A key component of this role involves providing strategic advice on software asset management and information for software contract renewals. Additionally, you will monitor the Division’s administrative and financial processes, including managing the risk register and tracking audit findings to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter.
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment
