The Role The Senior Building Services Engineer within the Facilities branch is responsible for undertaking fault analysis and providing sound technical and engineering advice and solutions relating to the effective operations of building infrastructure. The occupant of the role is also accountable for the efficient, cost-effective operation, maintenance, capex projects, upgrades, and development of the assets. In this position, you will provide engineering support, technical strategies and initiatives that ensure sustainable maintenance practices and lead and deliver agreed Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) initiatives. About you The successful candidate will have highly developed strategic leadership skills and demonstrated experience in managing building services teams, contractors, and support staff in a built environment. There is currently one (1) full time permanent position available for immediate appointment. Part-time and flexible working arrangements will be considered. Initially this selection process will be used to fill the above vacancy, but it may also be used to appoint to similar positions that may arise in the agency within the next twelve (12) months on a permanent or fixed-term basis with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency.
