About Our Roles

We rely on a flexible workforce to deliver some of Perth's most exciting sport and entertainment events, as well as the recreational and community services within our venues. We see our casuals regularly, with a full calendar of events and programs running all year round you can try a range of different roles across catering, front of house ushering, event set up, customer service, health and fitness, sport and leisure programs, creche, aquatics and swim school, parking and more.

VenuesWest provides opportunities for casual employment at the following venues:

  • HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont
  • WA Athletics Stadium in Mount Claremont
  • Midvale SpeedDome
  • HBF Arena in Joondalup
  • HBF Park in Perth
  • Champion Lakes Regatta Centre

Hours and days of work will vary dependent on the position.

Pay Rates

The rate of pay will depend on the position that you are working. Pay rates for casual positions commence at $32.04 per hour (including casual loading) however it should be noted that age rates do apply for employees under the age of 21. Employment Screening

To be eligible for employment with VenuesWest you must have the following at the time of commencement:

  • Right to Work in Australia for the duration of the employment contract
  • National Police Clearance (valid within the last 12 months)
