About the role

We are seeking a suitably experienced person to fill the full-time (1 FTE) position of Venues Hospitality Operations Coordinator.

As the Venues Hospitality Operations Coordinator, you will lead a vibrant team to deliver successful business operations for hospitality and functions across the Arts and Culture Trust. The successful applicant will have a strong focus on delivering an integrated and positive front of house hospitality service, whilst controlling stock, floats and all associated equipment.

This position is fixed term to 30 April 2023 with a possibility of further terms. At the conclusion of the initial engagement, subsequent contracts may be offered or the ACT may choose to readvertise the opportunity.

Conditions

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment. This role requires a valid Unrestricted Approved Managers Card.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within ACT and/or the wider public sector which arise within six months of the recruitment process being endorsed. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered fixed term, part-time or full-time.

For temporary (fixed term or casual) positions, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Location

This role is based at the State Theatre Centre WA, however, may be required to work across ACT venues as required.
