The College has a proud history of comprehensive participation in co-curricular competitions and enrichment.

The structure of the Middle School is designed to meet the emotional needs of younger adolescents in their first two years of high school. Teachers stay with the same community for two years, which establishes a strong sense of belonging for the students and allows them to develop as individuals as well as gain an understanding of team involvement. The Middle School environment encourages greater flexibility in the teaching and learning program, fostering a holistic approach to learning and catering for the diverse range of students’ individual needs.

Our outstanding staff support a culture of success underpinned by their demonstrable care for student well-being and their capacity to teach. The direction of the College is enunciated in our Shenton 2025 Vision Statement: Shenton College is boldly ambitious and proudly public school, committed to delivering the highest quality education to every student in our care. As a learning community, we nurture curiosity, collaboration, and a sense of responsibility towards others — enabling us to lead lives of agency, contribution, and fulfilment.

Located in Perth's western suburbs, the College has a well-earned reputation for excellence: whether it is the entrenched professional culture that embraces innovation and growth to the consistent success of our students at local, national, and international levels. The College’s nationally awarded selective academic GATE program has broad community recognition and consistently attracts the highest calibre students from across the state.  The Shenton College campus has outstanding facilities supported by an experienced and highly regarded administrative team – you will feel supported at every level of your professional life.
