LOCATION: East Perth
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Consultant assists the senior officers within the Complaints Management Unit in the management of complaints and investigations, in accordance with regulatory requirements, Departmental policies and procedures and the Australian Standard for Complaints Handling. The Consultant assists with the administration of the Complaints Management Unit database and provides routine and ad hoc reports and assists senior officers with data interrogation, analysis and research projects as directed.
SELECTION CRITERIA: High-level interpersonal skills, including skills in negotiation, consultation and problem solving that demonstrate an ability to work cooperatively with others at all levels. Conceptual and analytical skills and an ability to identify, investigate and clarify issues and problems. Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality customer service ensuring that the needs of clients are met. Computerised database interrogation and management skills. Organisational skills and an ability to assist in planning and coordinating initiatives and projects. Sound level of oral and written communication skills in a range of contexts and for specific audiences.
