Located in the Goldfields-Esperance region, north of Kalgoorlie, Leonora DHS caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Leonora DHS has a long history of supporting the local community by embracing the Cultural diversity, that is Leonora. With 112 student enrolments, 79% being of Aboriginal heritage, the school embeds the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework throughout the curriculum.

The Role

As School Officer you are the first point of contact for our school and would be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information. The successful applicant will ideally have a friendly, positive and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community.

The successful applicant will ideally model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and ideally use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff. In addition, you would support student-related activities such as assisting with student enrolment procedures and operating a range of software packages particularly databases and word processing.
