We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant – Mainstream for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

At Lathlain Primary School (PS) we cater for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 and provide academic, social, physical, and emotional well-being for our students. Our staff work with parents, carers, and families to maximise opportunities for each student to reach their potential. These relationships are valued and are important partnerships that support a positive and nurturing learning environment.

The Role

Suitable applicants will assist the teacher in delivering planned education programs and encouraging a supportive, caring, and inclusive learning environment. You should work under teacher direction, implementing individual and small group educational programs.

Suitable applicants will ideally be flexible and willing to collaborate and work in teams. You will ideally assist the teacher with the general care and well-being of the students and support the teacher with supervision of the students during class activities and excursions. In addition, you should possess sound oral and written skills including the ability to interact with students, parents, and teaching professionals.

At Lathlain PS we cater for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 and provide academic, social, physical, and emotional well-being for our students. Our staff work with parents, carers, and families to maximise opportunities for each student to reach their potential. These relationships are valued and are important partnerships that support a positive and nurturing learning environment.
