Delivery of ICT services provides support for the Department’s educational outcomes by developing initiatives and technical support strategies to ensure all 800-plus Western Australian public schools can be individual, distinctive and responsive to their local communities, while still benefiting from being part of a system.
The Role
In this role, you will offer strategic advice and input into the development and implementation of key policies and standards that align with the Department’s ICT functions and strategic direction. You will undertake comprehensive research to address emerging ICT trends, offer solutions to complex issues, and manage cross-group projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet departmental guidelines. Your expertise will be pivotal in preparing briefings, reports, and other key documentation, as well as translating technical information into accessible language for broader communication platforms.
As a Principal Consultant, you will play a key role in managing stakeholder relationships by building strong networks with senior management, staff, and the wider community to ensure ICT services meet client needs. You will provide strategic advice to the ICT Executive Management team on operational matters and contribute to change management initiatives within the ICT branch.
