What We’re Looking For:
- Passion and Professionalism: A highly professional and passionate individual who should be eager to make a difference.
- Innovative Teaching: Someone who can ideally analyze learning areas and individual student data in Maths to boost student achievement and deepen subject knowledge.
- Experience and Skills: Familiarity with Whole School Instructional Models, Explicit Instruction methods, and a strong grasp of whole-school Literacy and Numeracy are highly desirable. The ability to support Students at Educational Risk (SAER) and extension classes is a skill set we are also ideally seeking.

The Role
Gilmore College is seeking to employ a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their friendly team.
The successful applicant should have high expectations, with a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies and can have the ability to establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment. You should be a flexible and adaptive teacher, able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching using the Gilmore College Whole School Instructional Model. An ability to teach Mathematics across all year levels from Years 7 – 12 is highly desirable.
The successful applicant will ideally possess strong communication and interpersonal skills which will be used to develop and promote the school’s values, ethos and priorities across the school community. You will build positive relationships with your students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students. Your input in a high functioning team of Mathematics teachers will be valued and lead to potential leadership opportunities in the areas of pedagogy, sustainability and curriculum
