About the Role
Main Roads are looking for an energetic and motivated individual with strong technical capability and well-developed communication skills for this key role as the Maintenance Manager in the Mid-West Gascoyne based in Geraldton.
You will plan and manage the delivery of the routine and periodic maintenance programs for the Region within approved funding allocations including the management of maintenance resources in the Mid-West Gascoyne Region to deliver maintenance works and programs.
As part of this role, you will be constantly liaising with the community and working with key stakeholders to ensure the safety of all road users. You will be required to monitor and report of the delivery performance of the maintenance works program for the region to both internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for people with:
- Experience in project and construction management, including road maintenance planning and delivery.
- Experience in road maintenance practice including resurfacing and rehabilitation treatments and practices.
- Exposure to managing resources.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
- The ability to influence, negotiate, persuade and solve problems.
- Enthusiasm, commitment and a focus on achieving results.
