Swimming and Water Safety are seeking to establish a pool of Program Coordinators – Swimming for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2024 and up to the end of April 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Swimming and Water Safety is responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of the Interm and VacSwim swimming programs that promote vital swimming and water safety skills for children aged 5 – 17.

The Role

As a Program Coordinator – Swimming, you will be responsible for the provision of human resources, coordination, development, and management of programs at venues across the State to ensure the successful delivery of the Department of Education swimming and water safety education programs. The role requires a high level of stakeholder engagement and experience working with databases and Microsoft office application.

Suitable applicants will work closely with other Program Coordinators – Swimming and ideally possess the ability to review and refine program related policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and client experience.
