The Role

Manjimup SHS is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join our team.

The role focuses on instilling in students an appreciation of the design process and developing their skills and pride in the use of tools and machines in bringing those designs to fruition using a variety of materials. The successful applicant will have developed knowledge in this area of the curriculum with strong teaching and classroom management skills and be able to develop good relationships with students to engage them in highly effective learning. They will engage in professional learning and working professionally with colleagues, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills, working as a member of a vibrant and enthusiastic school team.

The successful applicant will be passionate and committed to the education of young people. They will desirably possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate with team members, as well as work autonomously. Experience in delivering Vocational courses is highly desirable.
