The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic leader to join the leadership team as Program Coordinator of Student Services. As a key member of the Schools Leadership Team, it is desirable that the successful applicant will have had recent experience leading a Student Services team.
The Student Services Coordinator will be responsible for leading and managing a large, diverse and cohesive Student Services team to ensure successful implementation and monitoring processes for managing student welfare, health, and mental wellbeing. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to lead the Student Services team ensuring there is a clear, strategic and sustainable focus on a positive school environment for all students.
You should display high level skills with the management of educationally at-risk students that includes knowledge of effective intervention, monitoring and reporting strategies in accordance with Department policy and guidelines. You will also need well-developed project management skills as you will be responsible for the organisation and management of major events both within the school and the broader community. The ability to plan, communicate effectively, build strong teams, work within budget, set and meet deadlines and flexibility to respond to changing situations and challenges are essential.
