The Role
Little Grove Primary School is seeking a Teacher – Primary to join their friendly school. Little Grove PS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who are committed to providing high quality teaching and engaging learning programs in a supportive and inclusive environment. Successful applicants will be collaborative in nature and willing to go the extra mile to achieve our vision of Endeavour to Excel, ensuring students are at the forefront of everything we do.
Successful applicants will possess a comprehensive understanding of effective evidence-based teaching methods and provide explicit teaching in Literacy and Numeracy. Successful applicants will have the ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet student needs and be able to analyse and use student and school data to make targeted improvements in student learning by adjusting their teaching practices.
As a teacher at Little Grove Primary School, successful applicants will have highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills. The staff engage in collaborative practices such as phase teams and committees to achieve high standards in both individual and whole school performances. Applicants will support school directions, as outlined in our Business Plan, and be actively involved in committees which often meet after school instructional hours. They will also be committed to whole school approaches and programs with fidelity. A knowledge of the iSTAR teaching model, Letters and Sounds, Guided Reading, Talk for Writing, Ten Maths, Berry Street Trauma Informed Practice, integrating STEM and Digital Technologies would be desirable.
