Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: The Manager Data Innovation Laboratory is responsible for the technical infrastructure design and deployment of technology across the directorate. By driving delivery and adoption of data and information systems, this role plays a strategic role in building data driven solutions for complex business problems.
About You: We are seeking a strategic Senior Leader with extensive expertise in modern application development and a profound passion for cloud computing and digital innovation. In this critical role within our organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing our contemporary infrastructure solutions, encompassing both on-premises and cloud-based servers, while integrating robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard our systems.
Your leadership will be essential in managing the financial aspects of our ICT infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising on security or performance. You will bring a proven track record of implementing strategic DevOps practices and utilising data for transformative initiatives, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity resilience and risk management.
As an exceptional leader, you are expected to possess outstanding skills in motivating, guiding, and inspiring a technologically diverse team. Your ability to foster collaboration is crucial, as is your skill in engaging a broad range of stakeholders and clients, effectively navigating them through strategic changes and enhancements in our cybersecurity posture.
