About the Role
Mullewa District High School (DHS) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Secondary Generalist Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team.
Upper Primary teachers would also be suitable for this role.
In this role you will be a highly valued member of our staff. The Ideal Teacher
The successful applicant will ideally be able to work collaboratively with all staff and build positive relationships with carers and families. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our Aboriginal students whilst building a positive relationship with the local community. You will ideally have outstanding classroom and behaviour management skills as well as highly developed interpersonal and IT skills.
The successful applicant will ideally possess the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Ideally you will have an understanding of appropriate assessments and be able to use data to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching programs.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
