The Role

We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Track Engineering Manager within our Network & Infrastructure (N&I) Division.  The Track Engineering Manager is a key role within N&I. It leads the track engineering and track maintenance function ensuring the PTA’s infrastructure is safe and fit for purpose.  The position ensures asset management plans, maintenance regimes, projects and all other associated activities are conducted in a manner compliant to PTA and regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role you will be a chartered member of the Institute of Engineers Australia or have relevant professional engineering qualifications that would satisfy the admission requirement for professional membership to the Institution of Engineers Australia and a willingness to achieve chartered status within an agreed period after appointment.  You will also have extensive leadership experience within the rail industry in the track discipline.  This will include the ability to lead and manage teams in the delivery of planning, design, commissioning, maintenance and construction works.
