Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced candidates to the position of Clinical Nurse. Ideal applicants will promote the health and wellbeing of children, families and specific community groups using a range of health promotion/education and support strategies focusing on the social determinants of health. This position will be responsible for supporting humanitarian entrant and refugee families by accessing mainstream health services and support developmental assessments for children. Successful Clinical Nurses will also provide effective and efficient preventative and early intervention programs to individuals and groups.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) aims to ensure that the children and young people of Western Australia get the best start in life through health promotion; early intervention; and patient centred, family-focused care. 

CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State’s only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children’s Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
