Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: The Director functions within the Royal Perth Bentley Group (RPBG) Executive team to provide effective leadership, governance, strategic planning and operational management of the financial and corporate stream. The role provides strategic oversight and leadership to ensure the organisation provides high-quality and efficient service delivery, specifically in the delivery of financial and asset management, corporate services including contracting and site Human Resources, as well as leading the financial reform program, consistent with the hospital group’s safety, quality and performance frameworks. As part of the Executive team provides corporate and financial governance within the RPBG and is accountable to the Executive Director for the organisation’s financial position and compliance with corporate policy. A key role is providing financial reform for the organisation, including as required reform of existing structures for the delivery of sustainable financial management using Outcome Based Management (OBM) framework.
Area Profile: The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 670,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.
Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.
