About the Role

The Data Scientist position primarily involves developing quantitative models of government service delivery to analyse performance and to predict future expenditure growth under different policy scenarios. The position would be required to understand business needs, explain technical material to a range of stakeholders, and anticipate issues to help develop and implement solutions in a whole of government environment.

There is currently one immediate vacancy that is required to be filled on a permanent basis. This process may also be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise in the next 12 (twelve) months.
