Conditions This is a part time (0.6FTE or 45 hours per fortnight), fixed term vacancy until 9 January 2019, with a possibility of extension. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, fixed term or permanency.
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Record Screening policy.
Location This position is located in central Perth on William Street. You will be ideally located near the underground rail link and within easy walking distance of the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts.
Job Description The Human Resource Project Officer supports the Western Australian Museum to provide the executive with accurate and timely information on HR related matters to support effective planning, operational excellence and performance reporting.
Specific responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Coordinates and maintains the WA Museum’s Learning Management System/s.
- Assists with the coordination, development and implementation of various Human Resource initiatives.
- Undertakes projects and research related to the contemporary workforce development initiatives.
- Develops, delivers and reviews workforce development programs to build and sustain capacity of the WA Museum’s workforce.
- Provide HR support and advice on Recruitment and Selection, Job Classification and Development of JDF’s and Business Cases.
