About the role
We are seeking a self-motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Plant Coordinator in the Goldfields-Esperance Region, based in our Kalgoorlie-Boulder depot. In this role the primary focus is to coordinate the maintenance of Main Roads leased and owned plant and equipment. This includes coordinating plant and equipment wet and dry hire contracts for regional construction and maintenance works, in addition to coordinating safety inspections of plant and equipment.
To be successful in this role you will need to use your strong skills and experience in developing and enhancing stakeholder relationships to coordinate depot operations and supervise the behaviour, performance and development of depot staff.
To be successful you will be:
- experienced in the maintenance and repairs of trucks, heavy duty civil earthmoving equipment, minor plant and light fleet
- capable in determining plant and equipment selection and suitability for roadworks, including leasing plant and equipment in accordance with contracts or agreements
- a highly motivated individual who thrives on a challenge
- a strong communicator with an ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
