About the role
The Principal Registrar of the Tribunal is responsible for performing those functions and duties of the executive officer as provided for in section 148(1) of the State Administrative Tribunal Act 2004 (SAT Act) which involve consideration of legal questions or the exercise of the statutory discretions conferred on the executive officer, and other functions as directed by the President of the Tribunal.
The Principal Registrar is also responsible for the provision of other professional legal services to meet the requirements of the Tribunal and acts as an approved mediator in mediating matters in the Tribunal, pursuant to s 54 of the SAT Act.
Eligibility
We are seeking Legal Practitioners of not less than five years legal experience and eligible to be admitted to practice in Western Australia.
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
