We are one of the largest geographically spread road agencies in the world, responsible for more than 18,500 kilometres of road spread over 2.5 million square kilometres.
Our role is to plan, build and maintain Western Australia’s State Road Network valued at just over $46 billion. We work closely with our portfolio partners, Department of Transport and Public Transport Authority as well as local government to support the needs of all road users.
Why we need you
We have two Accounting Officer positions available within our Finance and Commercial Services Directorate, located at our Head Office in East Perth.
We are looking for people with strong customer service skills and the ability to easily develop positive working relationships with employees as well as other government agencies.
To be successful you will be:
- Able to demonstrate experience in the application of contemporary accounting standards and financial management policies and procedures
- Experienced in the use of financial management systems for transactions involving purchase orders, accounts payable and general ledger
- Capable of demonstrating work organisation skills, including the ability to work to schedules and deadlines
- Experienced in analysis and problem solving
