About the role

We are seeking a passionate and driven safety leader for our Safety Manager Regional role in the Kimberley Region, based in either our Derby or Broome office. This challenging and highly rewarding role will offer lots of variety and will require strong skills and experience in building and managing a culture of work health and safety as well as a natural ability to work with a range of stakeholders to build relationships and influence effectively.

To be successful you will be:

• experienced in managing all aspects of work health, safety and wellbeing in a large organisation with a multidisciplinary workforce in line with Work Health and Safety legislative requirements
• experienced in providing leadership in the development, implementation and improvements of workplace safety culture, systems and processes and practices and report on regional safety performance
• a problem solver with strong attention to detail
• a strong communicator with an ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

• A comprehensive CV demonstrating relevant skills and abilities within the context of the Job Role Statement.

• A statement outlining your substantial skills, knowledge and experience in the following three (3) criteria in no more than three (3) pages:

1. Managing all aspects of work health, safety and wellbeing in an organisation’s regional location with “white” and “blue” collar workforce.
2. Building and managing a culture of work health and safety in a workplace that follows an organisation’s WHS standards and legislative requirements.
3. Collaborating with an organisation’s central safety, health and wellbeing function in implementing corporate directions and initiatives.
