As part of our South West Region we’re looking for two (2) Road Crew Supervisors to join our Construction and Maintenance team to support our region to excel in managing our road network.
As a Road Crew Supervisor you play an important role in supervising the operation of road crews as they perform critical works on the network, including drainage installation, road widenings, overlay construction and intersection improvements. You will use your experience to ensure all road works are performed safely, efficiently, and to standard. You will demonstrate a calm demeanour as you show your leadership when providing onsite assistance in the management of incidents and emergency response. Furthermore, you will ensure the staff you supervise implement temporary Traffic Management Plans on site correctly, and that traffic safety, incident reporting and onsite assistance is managed appropriately.
In this role, you will promote a culture where the safety of your team and road users is paramount. Furthermore, this commitment will influence your approach to the supervision of road construction/maintenance works, resolution of technical issues, matters, risks and opportunities. The successful applicant will need to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and national police clearance prior to appointment.
