Job Description
The Director Life Sciences provides direction, leadership and management of the conservation, animal husbandry and administration of the Life Sciences program. In addition, the Director participates as a member of the Corporate Executive.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following three (3) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.
- Substantial knowledge, understanding and experience of captive animal management and wildlife conservation (supported by appropriate qualifications in and experience with Captive Animals).
- Demonstrated leadership skills which build organisational capacity, agency responsiveness and delivers outcomes.
- Successful demonstrated experience in management including budgeting, staff and performance management.
Note: The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
