About the opportunity
The Kimberley Development Commission is seeking an enthusiastic Executive Officer that is efficient in delivering on the needs of the Commission. With a focus on administrative and secretarial support the successful applicant will have the opportunity to connect with talented stakeholder groups internal and external to the Commission and be part of an environment which is conducive to the balanced economic and social development of the Kimberley region.
There is currently one (1) permanent, full-time position available for immediate filling with the flexibility to work part-time.

You will be providing high level research, administrative support and secretarial support to the Kimberley Development Commission’s Chief Executive Officer, Board and senior staff. This exciting opportunity will require you to liaise and develop effective relations with key stakeholders and network with other government agencies. You will maintain submissions, travel arrangements, prepare correspondence and arrange meetings on behalf of the Commissions staff and contributes to the delivery of research, policy and project work of the Kimberley Development Commission.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in providing administrative and secretarial support at a senior executive level, including the ability to conduct research and prepare high quality written reports and briefing papers with attention to detail. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in being providing high level and fast-paced administrative, and executive assistance. Your high order direct communication skills will enable you to liaise directly with the Commission’s stakeholders at a senior level secretarial experience in a regional and cross cultural setting will be highly regarded.
