This is a pool recruitment process to fill permanent, fixed term full time and part-time vacancies across three separate branches within the Energy Policy Group for twelve (12) months from finalisation of the recruitment process.

Principal Policy Analyst – Level 7
As a Principal Policy Analyst, you will have the opportunity to spearhead complex energy policy and market analysis, providing crucial evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders. This role offers the chance to lead and drive impactful projects, contributing directly to market and regulatory reforms that will shape the future of the energy landscape.
Your work will involve building and nurturing key relationships within the government, industry, and wider community, fostering an environment of trust and effective information sharing.
Assistant Director – Level 8
As Assistant Director, your expertise and leadership will contribute significantly to the future on the energy landscape in Western Australia. You will oversee a team of Policy Analysts, leading project management and delivery in specialised technical areas. Your work will revolve around providing evidence-based advice to facilitate informed government decision-making and driving improvements and reforms in the energy sector's market, regulatory, and policy frameworks.
Working within this leadership role, you will be responsible for identifying research needs for policy development, evaluating regulatory regimes, and designing policy and regulatory arrangements to foster competitive and secure energy markets and network systems.
These roles are located in Perth CBD, at 66 St Georges Terrace.
