Highlight the voices of children and young people
The Manager Media, Communications & Engagement leads a small team to develop and deliver strategic communications on behalf of the Commissioner for Children and Young People.
Other responsibilities:
- Developing media and social media strategic plans that consider the needs of our main stakeholders as well as the objectives of the Commissioner for Children and Young People.
- Preparing written materials including speeches, presentations, media releases, social media and website content, and formal reports such as the annual report.
- Engaging with Media, responding to requests for interviews and development of responses to key topics.
- Leading the team in events planning and management.
- Developing a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy, with a particular focus on opportunities to engage children and young people.
