Pool Recruitment
ACT is seeking to establish a pool of Senior Lighting Technicians and Lighting Supervisors.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments can be made for fixed term, permanent, full-time, part-time and casual vacancies over the next twelve (12) months.

About the Roles
The Senior Lighting Technician, level 5, is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance and removal of lighting production equipment. The Senior Lighting Technician will undertake a key role in the programming and operation of lighting consoles.
The Lighting Supervisor, level 6, is responsible for the daily operation and supervision of the lighting teams within the venues which they are assigned. The Lighting Supervisor role ensures the timely installation, operation, maintenance and removal of production lighting and electrical systems.

Conditions
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
To be eligible to apply for appointment to permanent positions in the Western Australian Public Sector, you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
For temporary (fixed term or casual) positions, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Applicants found suitable for this recruitment pool may also be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within ACT and the wider public sector which arise prior to the pool’s closing date.
Appointment is subject to successful applicants providing evidence of their Construction Safety Awareness Training Card (White Card – formerly Blue Card) or progress towards receiving this training and all other requirements as listed in the JDF.
Location
This role may be based at any of the ACT managed venues as listed in the JDF.
