The Role
The PTA is seeking a qualified Engineering Officer to provide civil engineering support to the Network & Infrastructure (N&I) Division’s Civil Branch. The incumbent will contribute to the operational performance of the Branch and ensure the reliability of the assets across the PTA’s network. Additionally, the winning candidate will be assisting in various functions across the Division including third party service providers and civil engineering support for a range of projects.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in civil drafting, data collection, planning and delivery of maintenance and inspection and construction works in an operational asset intensive environment. It is essential that the incumbent possess an engineering diploma/degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering and be eligible to satisfy professional membership to Engineers Australia as an associate. They will also need to have good communication and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to organise your work to meet agreed targets.
