About the Role
We are seeking an individual with strong leadership and management skills to fill the position of Engineering Assurance Manager. Reporting to the Rail Engineering Manager, the winning candidate will be responsible for management and oversight of the assurance processes for all aspects of project works including Systems Engineering, during the planning and project development stages. This includes but is not limited to reliability, configuration management, requirements management and technical interface management. The role is critical in ensuring the planning and design of PTA infrastructure is compliant in meeting construction, operations and maintenance requirements.
About You
To ensure success you will possess:
- An appropriate Engineering Degree qualification that would satisfy admission to the Institute of Engineers Australia.
- Substantial experience in Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, and the use of requirement management systems on multi-discipline projects.
- Substantial experience in design, construction, operation and maintenance in a railway environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic perspective in relation to rail infrastructure systems.
- Demonstrated management skills including resource, people and project management, converting strategies into operational plans, and achieving operational outcomes.
There is one permanent position available on a full-time basis. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months.
