Our Fleet Maintenance team is seeking dedicated professionals who share our passion to make a positive contribution in keeping Western Australia safe.
The $89,441 annual salary quoted above is inclusive of:
- $1373.88 gross per week base salary, The DFES FES Agreement 2020, is currently being negotiated with an anticipation of a salary increase. The outcome is expected by the 31 March 2023.
- $98.90 per week availability allowance, that is subject to change.
- $250 per week attraction and retention allowance, which at this stage is endorsed until 31 March 2023.
Working a nine (9) day fortnight you will undertake servicing, repairs and maintenance to fleet vehicles and associated equipment such as, elevated work platforms, aerial appliances, automated computer systems, electric pneumatic systems and various integrated OEM heavy vehicle systems.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of work from internal and external service providers is always maintained and provide technical advice and training to ensure the safety of staff and the community.
Once appropriately trained, you will have the ability to increase your income, receiving allowances and overtime when participating on a 24-hour roster system, being on call, providing auto electrical support. This could involve being called upon to provide auto electrical support at fire grounds and incidents.
