The Role
The role provides engineering support and expertise for all asset management aspects including maintenance, design, construction, upgrades and modifications of the branch assets; project manages third party access to the PTA’s rail network and safeguards PTA assets; contributing to the overall performance, reliability and all other associated activities in accordance with PTA and regulatory requirements.
You are also required to be in possession of a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent recognised by the Institute of Engineers Australia. In addition, you are required to have substantial proven experience in providing civil engineering/structural engineering expertise and knowledge in the planning, design and delivery of maintenance and/or construction works in an operational asset intensive environment. You will also need to have well-developed communication, experience in providing leadership plus problem solving skills.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months from which fixed term appointments with possibility of extension and/or permanency will be made.
