Why we need you
Our Heavy Vehicle Services Branch is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Heavy Vehicle Projects Manager on a permanent basis. This role will be located at our Heavy Vehicle Services Branch in Redcliffe and will be responsible for managing Heavy Vehicle Services’ (HVS) major projects, stakeholder engagement and National reforms initiatives. This role will manage the financial and economic evaluation of complex and high-risk projects.
This is a critical role, working as part of a team to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable heavy vehicle access to the Western Australian road network. Some of your key deliverables in this role include:
- National Heavy Vehicle Reforms and Projects: plan and manage the development, review, implementation and co-ordination of national transport reforms and projects in addition to managing the development and input of other key projects.
- Project and Policy Development: contribute to and influence discussion on national regulatory strategy, policy and systems, in addition to providing strategy policy advice and policy development management.
- Leadership and Management: manage financial, technological, physical, human and other resources within agreed allocations to meet agreed outcomes.
- Stakeholder Relationships: manage WA’s contribution to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator and Reforms. Provide a key role in the stakeholder relationships with both internal and external working groups.
