About the Interagency Graduate Program
The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) and the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) have come together to create an award-winning interagency graduate program.
Our 18-month program aims to build the skills, experience and networks required for a successful career in the Western Australian public sector. A customised rotation plan provides our graduates with opportunities to work on state-wide projects and initiatives. Initial employment is on a fixed basis, commencing January 2023, with the provision for permanent appointment following successful completion of the first 12-months.

About the Graduate Officer – Service Delivery Support
The Service Delivery Support Branch is seeking a recent graduate with a Bachelor degree in Business or one of the following fields or an approved equivalent: business improvement, project management, communications (degree to be completed in 2021 or later).
Within the Service Delivery Group, the Service Delivery Support Branch is responsible for providing operational and project support to the Executive Director and other senior officers within the Group. In particular, the Branch manages the cashiering services at the Department's Cannington offices; undertakes business improvement projects; develops operational policies; manages cross-group operational projects; and provides finance and human resources responsibility support to senior officers within the Group.
Contributing knowledge and skill to identify business improvement initiatives, you will work on a variety of projects, and with teams delivering a wide range of customer services. You will use your technical skill and creativity to review and improve business processes, documentation and training systems.
This position is located in Cannington however, you may be required to work at other sites.

We are looking for graduates who have completed their degree in 2021 or 2022, who are willing to learn, enjoy collaborating with team members and stakeholders, and demonstrate strong research, analytical and written skills.
