Join the Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery Division (OMTID) of the PTA where we are responsible for managing the delivery of complex, high value, high risk public transport infrastructure.
The Opportunities
During this time of exciting opportunity and transformation, OMTID is seeking to establish a pool of suitably qualified, Level 5, Digital Project Engineers!
We initially have two positions available for immediate filling on a full-time fixed term appointment for 36 months with possible extension/permanent.
The Digital Project Engineers (Level 5) provide digital engineering, Building Information Design (BIM) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) support and assistance to the Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery to ensure that the engineering solutions can be designed, built and maintained safely, cost effectively and according to quality objectives.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Possession of Degree or Diploma in Engineering or appropriate related discipline with recognition by or membership of the respective professional body.
- Proven experience on projects in regard to the digital engineering, BIM and CAD of infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of digital engineering practices and an ability to manage multiple tasks in a high intensity environment.
- Proven experience in digital engineering, BIM and CAD in a public transport project environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of digital engineering and an ability to work with contractors in an environment of public transport infrastructure project.
Pool
This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which fixed term or permanent appointments will be made within the next 12 months
